pedallingforparkinsons

This Sept I rode London to Paris for Parkinson's Disease – 125km a day over 4 days; . The fundraising total is through the roof. So, enormous thanks to all for your sponsorship and messages of support. The personal story is of me – a nephew – helping out his gay uncles; one who has Parkinsons, the other who cares about him an awful lot. Help us put more money in the pot..?!

Courage!!!!!!

The charity handed out medals! I didn’t need one. All I did was ride a bike - something I’m totally capable of doing! I did it to help ‘change attitudes’ and maybe raise a bit of dosh to pay for nurses and also (fingers crossed) to help research to ‘find a cure’.

It’s the charity who needs the medal! The people diagnosed and the family-carers like my uncle who need these medals!

I’ll adorn him with it when I next see him on my next trip to Blackpool!

So by SMS (UK only) ::

RT if you can… To help me get EurostarUK to sponsor my travel to London for the Parkinson’s charity cycle… Cheers, big ears

Eurostar. I’ve been swaying between being a casual to a frequent customer for nigh on 5 years with the Eurostar service. Using it to hop too and fro from paris to london.

Now I need a favour! I’m doing a 400km, 4 day cycle from London to Paris (3 - 6 Sept 2014).

But I live in Paris. Around the 1st Sept, I’d like to travel and take the bike on Eurostar to London.

I’ve raised over £1300 for on the the UK’s leading Parkinson’s Disease charities.

Can you help me?

Salut from Paris
